Vail Epic passholder update
Posted on Nov 5th, 2021

Know Before You Go

Dear Epic passholders,

We’re excited to welcome you to the mountains this season! Here are a few important things to know before you join us as we work together to help keep our guests, employees and mountain communities safe.
No Mountain Access Reservations Needed: Unlike last year, pass holders do not need a mountain access reservation.
Lifts and Gondolas Will Be Loaded at Normal Capacity: This will help us optimize your time on mountain.
Bring a Face Covering: Face coverings are required indoors around the resort. They are not required while you’re skiing, riding, or on a chairlift or *gondola.
Vaccinations Required in Indoor Cafeteria-Style Restaurants: For guests 12 and over, you will be required to show proof of vaccination to dine at our indoor cafeteria-style restaurants. Guests can show a vaccination card, a photo of a vaccination card on their phone, or an authorized vaccination verification mobile app. Guests 18 and over will also need to show a government issued photo ID (or an Epic Pass). We believe this added precaution at our large-scale, high-volume dining facilities will help keep everyone safe and support a great ski and ride season. To view the list of indoor cafeteria-style restaurants at a resort, please visit the resort’s dining webpage. *Vaccinations are not required at our full-service or outdoor restaurants.
Make Your Dining Reservation: Many of our on-mountain restaurants are requiring reservations. You can book them the day before on the resort’s dining webpage, the EpicMix App or through QR codes at the resort.
To Learn More: For more information and to view FAQs, please visit our COVID-19 safety website and/or the resort website you plan to visit.
*Planning to visit Whistler Blackcomb? Please visit the resort website to learn more.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all. We will continue to follow all federal, state and local public health orders, and will post any updates to our COVID-19 safety website and resort websites. We look forward to seeing you on the mountain this year!
