Afternoon Solitude owners,
For those of you who have not been able to come enjoy the wonderful foliage colors.....it is not too late to come up. As I may have mentioned in the past, I believe the idea of "peak foliage" is a misnomer.
Back to insurance and here are my summary notes:
Our long time agency, Lawrence & Wheeler, was purchased by The Richards Group during this past year; although we are pleased to report that Paul Kendall and Erica Blaise remain with the company and our primary contacts. Attached you will find an updated Master Insurance Certificate valid through 9/30/23 for your records.
Philadelphia Insurance remains our primary underwriter
The building values were increased to keep up with material costs
The Richards Group offers a competitive Homeowner's Policy (Ho6) which is also attached, and we encourage all owners to consider having all of your VT insurance with one agency
To reiterate the above point....in the event your unit is damaged and the master policy is evoked, trust me when I say it will be much easier to deal with "one insurance agent", who has to coordinate everything. Improvements and betterment's are the homeowner's responsibility and if you have not shared details on your renovations with your agent, we urge you to do that sooner than later
